Apple Tree Partners Donates to Humanitarian Relief Efforts in Ukraine
All of us at Apple Tree Partners (ATP) are distressed to witness the violence and suffering in Ukraine. To support humanitarian relief efforts, ATP is making a $100,000 donation to Direct Relief, a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that is mobilizing emergency supplies, equipment, and medicines in response to the crisis on the ground in Ukraine and surrounding areas. Direct Relief is equipping doctors and nurses with life-saving medical resources and emergency supplies, working directly with Ukraine’s Ministry of Health and other partners in the region to provide requested medical equipment and medicines. Direct Relief is also preparing to offer longer-term medical aid to people displaced or affected by the conflict.
Our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine, and at this time of ongoing crisis, we are profoundly grateful for the efforts of Direct Relief and other humanitarian aid organizations to provide medical care and other essential services.
